Personal Protective Equipment Needed

Medical professionals and essential workers in our community need personal protective equipment (PPE) to safely combat and/or work through COVID-19. Please consider donating new/unopened N95 masks, safety goggles, face shields, gloves sanitizing wipes and hand sanitizer to distribute to medical personnel, first responders and essential workers such as care givers. It is imperative that during these trying times that our essential works, especially in the medical community (and their families they live with) stay safe and healthy.

To help fund materials needed for homemade reusable cloth face masks and kits:

$10 Kits = material for 7 masks

Homemade face masks and other PPE can be:

  • Mailed to SOH 2020 C/O Oswego Health Foundation, 110 West Sixth Street, Oswego, NY 13126, or
  • Dropped off at 127 West Sixth Street, Oswego, NY 13126. Please place items inside of the green Novelis bin located on the front porch. If someone is dropping off at the same time, please be sure to practice social distancing and wait for them to finish before approaching the porch.

To protect their caring hands and to limit the transfer of pathogens by touch, medical personnel go through a number of CDC approved disposable medical nitrile gloves. Various sizes needed.
